Schedule A Broadcast

Start and optionally stop a saved stream automatically using an explicit worldwide timezone.

Before you begin

Create the stream first and leave it stopped. Its media and destinations must be READY before the scheduled start.

1Open Schedule and choose the stopped stream.
2Set the automatic start date and time, then select the intended IANA timezone.
3Optionally set an automatic stop date and time. It must be later than the start.
4Choose Once, Daily, or Weekly recurrence and save the schedule.
5Verify the schedule card shows the correct UTC conversion. The server scheduler will start and stop it without an open browser.
