Reduce Buffering

Check the prepared media, destination health, and VPS network before changing broadcast settings.

Before you begin

A destination preview is normally delayed by several seconds. Separate normal latency from repeated freezing or a falling delivery speed.

1Preview the READY media locally and confirm it plays smoothly from the Media page.
2Use a prepared file with two-second keyframes; 24Stream’s media worker creates this during processing.
3Check the Usage admin page for high CPU, memory, or disk pressure and confirm the selected encoder is healthy.
4Test one destination first. If it is stable, add the second destination and compare provider health.
5Use the control room and service journal at the same time to identify network reconnects, authentication rejection, or a damaged source.
